In defense of my vice: Hendrick’s gin

I mean, it’s not like I go home at night and chug the stuff, but this is some seriously good gin. The first time I ever had a gin martini, I was maybe 21 and it was made with whatever cheap stuff the restaurant I was at wanted to earn a $7 margin on. It tasted like a pureed Christmas tree — and not in a good way. Fast forward six or so years to now, when running out of Hendrick’s in our house is almost as bad as running out of toilet paper. A martini, a gin & tonic, a gin & ginger ale…it all tastes better sitting on a Hendrick’s.
