Really, what I’m most thankful for is having a fabulous wife who enjoys making delicious things such as pumpkin pie. But the pie itself is a close second. She makes it with real pumpkins. None of that canned nonsense.
I suppose I’m also thankful for all of the other good things I’ve got, like a supportive family, a steady job, general good health and all that. But again, you should really try this pie. With some fresh homemade whipped cream, too? Jesus. Sweet, flaky-crusted Jesus.
