If I were an overnight thousandaire
Even though my CD shelves are bursting at the seams, I would probably go on a mad rampage at a decent indie record store like Rasputin’s or Amoeba. There’s nothing like the thrill of combing through the “used” section at a record shop and uncovering all kinds of things I know I want or spontaneously decide I do.
I would be remiss, however, if I didn’t allocate some portion of this money to doing something enjoyable with my lovely wife, Heather. We enjoy nice meals and little vacations, so we’d probably do a little weekend getaway somewhere like San Luis Obispo, Portland, Napa or even just San Francisco. And you bet we’d have a good soundtrack on the way there.
